When production on a plant-floor asset stops, iSNMP Agent can provide real-time notification of the failure to the enterprise management system. Additionally, specific production information available from the plant-level network can be routed to the enterprise management system to allow real-time access to inventory levels, production rates and manufacturing asset maintenance status. HVAC System Monitoring
Modern buildings often have a network to connect their chillers, boilers, heaters and other environmental system assets. These networks often include proprietary network operator interfaces, limiting the ability for administrators to access information from their existing enterprise management software. Using iSNMP Agent and the appropriate HVAC network driver, any plant asset can become visible from the enterprise management software package.
Site-Asset Monitoring
Often remote retail/convenience stores have a connection between their "back-office" systems and the enterprise network management system. Currently, this link is often used only to pass point-of-sale information about sales. With iSNMP Agent software, now the enterprise management system can keep up with fuel tank levels, HVAC conditions, and store asset health.
